Mortgage insurance is typically paid monthly as a part of your mortgage payment, but you might pay a lump sum at closing in addition to the monthly payments. 

Lawyer Fees & Title Insurance

In addition to the prepaid expenses mentioned above, you'll also need to hire a real estate lawyer to handle the title transfer and other tasks to ensure that the house transfers to you “free and clear” without any liens or outstanding claims made against the property. Title insurance is also recommended to protect you against fraud.
